ROI From Cycle Peaks Explained

This chart shows Bitcoin's ROI and cycles from market peaks.

It is similar to our cycle low multiple chart, but instead of measuring from the low, it measures from peak.

This allows for an easy comparison of how the current Bitcoin cycle is doing compared to past ones, in terms of the drop from the high.

A more detailed explanation:

• The blue line shows Bitcoin's price from the 2011 top to the 2013 top
• The red line shows the price from the 2013 top to the 2017 top
• The yellow line shows from the 2017 top to the 2021 top
• The green line shows from the 2021 top until now (current)

This allows you to easily compare how each Bitcoin cycle compares in terms of its recovery since the prior high.

For example, we can clearly see that the current cycle (green) is actually ahead of the previous two cycles in terms of recovery from the previous peak.

This makes sense, since this was the first time we hit an all-time high before the halving.
